At 2316 Baynard Boulevard, you can find Wilmington's newest romantic coffee shop, where love and passion meet over a warm cup of coffee. Nicholas Qaabar fell in love with the unique structure in the Triangle district, and after convincing the owner to sell, he renovated it into a café that serves three neighborhoods, including Baynard Village and the Ninth Ward.

Indulge in vegan and vegetarian cuisine and get a flavor of the Middle East with their hummus and sandwiches with Palestinian aioli. But at the core of it all is a superb cup of coffee, the company's cornerstone.

The café's name, "Scout," symbolizes Nicholas' passion for exploration and the great outdoors. You can never have too many nice coffee shops, books, or houseplants, just like in nature. So, go on an adventure with them to find your next favorite cup of coffee and maybe learn more about each other.

2. Kaffe Karma

The newest addition to Barley Mill Plaza, Kaffé KARMA, will change the way you think about coffee, love, and health. Katie Kutler's creative coffee shop and yoga and meditation class at 347 Buckley Mill Road in Wilmington, which is open during the day and at night, reflects the idea of "action," or karma, as it tries to make the community a better place.

Enjoy a unique mix of drinks made with espresso, fresh smoothies, and the unusual pleasure of mushroom coffee. Health bowls, charcuterie and hummus platters, and the delicious Satori toast are some of the new dishes you can try with your loved one.

KARMA's aim is to become the community's go-to resource for mental and physical wellbeing. This new building will be a great addition to the neighborhood. It will have planned events and a focus on being mindful. So, you and your partner can join the KARMA movement now and support local aspirations. Now that’s a meaningful date!

3. Brew Haha! (Avenue North)

With Brew HaHa!, you may enter the realm of coffee connoisseurship, where a cup of coffee is more than simply a drink. Alisa Morkides took a chance when she brought European-style coffee to Delaware. Now, coffee lovers know exactly where their beans come from and argue fiercely about the best ways to brew their coffee.

The new atmosphere of Brew HaHa can be felt at their new location on Avenue North, which is clean and modern with a beautiful 1,400-square-foot terrace and lots of greenery. Say goodbye to shabby chic and hello to the midcentury modern style, which can now be seen at the majority of Brew HaHa locations. This is the new date location!

But it's the quality of their coffee that sets Brew Ha Ha apart! It's professionally roasted with affection at their sibling business, Brandywine Coffee Roasters, right here in Wilmington. So, join the coffee lovers and enhance your date game with a cup from Brew HaHa!

4. Zava Cafe

Zava Cafe, owned by Danio Somoza and Thaina Bittencourt in the Avenue Inn & Spa building, is a hidden treasure in the center of Rehoboth. As soon as you walk in, the Instagrammable design and tropical theme will draw you in. Their menu is a love letter to taste and nutrition, with an emphasis on healthy food. Dine al fresco on bright days and soak up the rays while enjoying their salads, paninis, and bagels.

The ten outdoor tables are popular, but the inside is also appealing, with pendant lights and woven shades, a wood counter with a natural edge, and lagoon-colored tiles. The couple's smoothies and mocktails show how much they care about eating healthy, and they plan to serve drinks at a second 50-seat location in Milton.

Zava is a real love story of coffee and community, with beans roasted in Brazil and Columbia. If you are planning a good date place in Milton, this is the one.
