First on the list is the annual OktDoverFest 2022, which will take place on Loockerman Street in Dover on October 8. OktDoverFest, Dover's take on a historic German rite of passage, honors Dover's booming small businesses, military community, craft beverage sector, and new manufacturing partners.

Dover's restaurants and pubs will provide street food. Your favorite food trucks will line Loockerman Street, serving their specialties, and local artisans will sell products. Delaware's craft beverage industry will be heavily represented, with booths selling spirits, beers, and wines. Starting Friday at 6:30 p.m., there will be a carnival, food court, and a "Little Miss Apple Scrapple" pageant. On Saturday morning, carnival rides, children's activities, live entertainment, a car show, trade exhibition, craft exhibits, and fantastic food sellers such as apple dumplings, scrapple sandwiches, oyster sandwiches, hamburgers and hotdogs, BBQ beef sandwiches, ice cream, and much more will be available.

"Apple Scrapple" has become a significant fundraiser for local community organizations and a means of raising awareness of the agricultural sector in lower Delaware.
